Some shit happened today.

I was making a left turn back onto Belmont from a side street. I looked left and saw a van coming way down the road so I moved forward to block off the lane so I wouldn't have to wait forever to make the turn. I looked right and saw nothing coming, so I moved forward to make the turn and scraped all against the side of the same fucking van. They decided to swerve around me even though I was obviously trying to make a turn by cutting the lane off. Put a long dent in their door with my paint on it and it left scratches, scrapes, and a hole where my license plate holder popped off on my front bumper. To top things off, it was an old Polish couple who spoke close to no English. Insurance will take care of it all because there wasn't any terrible damage, but since I'm the young one with the red car, I'll get the fat insurance spike. Fucking sweet.

Jenny wanted to stop and look around the sex shop and this totally hilarious dude was working there who reminded Marko and I exactly of Tim. Jenny bought one of those long sticks you put a cigarette in and she was telling the guy how it was "just like Audrey Hepburn" to which the guy responded, "Yeah, but.. she's.. dead." It was so awkward. We want him in our band.

I also finally saw Back To The Future 2 and 3 this week. Great movies. Great trilogy.

Here's a little bit of the new layout I'm working on for Uncle Outrage.

Here's the old one some slacker did for the band that they hate.

What do you guys think?

Edit: I guess they hated it so much that they already took it down.

Phew. I finally got a job. I will be working as a stupid cashier at a stupid little hardware store making a stupid $6.50 an hour. It is full-time, though. Also: money.

So.. took Jenny to Energy for her first night at the club. This black guy, though.. wow. This dude was lightning and thunder amazing. It was like watching explosions. I'd say he was way better than Walt, and Walt is really, really good. It's too bad he wasn't there because they totally would have battled and it would have been like Dragonball Z where they fly around and shit just sort of collapses.

Edit: Dancing without the usual posse was tough like these mean city streets. I miss everyone!

Acen was disappointing. Friday night was a bunch of drunken stupidity and I apparently did a bunch of things that I would rather have not done, but it doesn't really matter since I don't remember any of it. Saturday was a whole lot of nothing until the dance started which had some crap DJs and way too many people. I'm not alone with my opinion that the con felt like a big waste of time.

I think I'm going to actually try my best to have money to spare when Anime Reactor swings around. I want to start going to con events again. I do like anime and I'm getting pretty tired of the whole "go to a con with no money and aim for nothing but to get drunk and party" thing. There's plenty of time to go to con events AND party. It's feeling too urgent and forced. Cross-dressing is also getting pretty old.

On the plus side, everyone was at this con and I did see a ton of friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Jen also said I look a lot better than I did three years ago, haha. I can only hope.

This is the best embarassing story ever and totally something I would do. [02 May 2005|10:48am]
"I went to a party with a friend of mine and three girls we had just met. One of them Loran if I remember correctly was pretty hot. We all ended up going back to her dorm room a midnight pizza. Loran put on a movie and everyone left after about twenty minutes.

I was enjoying the movie so I decided to stay, plus there was the possibility of some action. I'm sitting in the recliner next to the bed she is lying in. Here's where I get smooth. Loran, "My bed is SOOO soft." I recognise the obvious invitation here but I am really fucking lazy. So I respond, "Thats awesome." I finish the movie and walk home."

I don't have a clue what's going on in either one of these but they are pretty rad regardless.

I just found out that Peko was killed in a car accident a while back. We met at Anime Reactor. I was looking at my AIM list wondering why she was never online anymore. Reading all the comments on her DA page filled me in. She was so awesome. We were supposed to meet up at ACen and hang out and party and such. This is definintely disheartening and weird. RIP, Peko-chans. You were totally the coolest, hottest, and most awesome. <3333333333333333

I just made the FLUFFIEST PANCAKE EVER. At least out of the pancakes I've seen/eaten.

Tim, I must have said "I'll jump your shit and punch your kids" about a million times last night. Thanks for inventing that group of words.

So that party was pretty good. I think it was much better than the last one. I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my dirty mouth. Seriously. I am still learning drunk etiquette as I go. I hope everyone had a good time anyways.

Good show as expected. Rob tore it up on guitar cuz Steve wasn't there. It's been 2 years or so since MSI's played in Chicago with all of there members. Sharon and I learned our lesson once again that, next time we see them, we will be up in the balchony. I can't handle these people anymore. Hey, let's squish together really uncomfortably, crowd surf so we kick other people in the head, and mosh so entire sections of the crowd fall down. GET OFF MY MSI SHOW. I almost didn't get in but Danny scored me a ticket when the line started moving in. He's my favorite MSI fan that I don't really know. Now to get some people together to see them in MN. Honk honk. Coming through, d-bags.

PS. The lead singer from one of the openers, Shades of Fiction, was dressed -exactly- like Iori from King of Fighters. The band was tolerable but he got a lot of rad points for the costume.

So, hey, who is going to that aforementioned party?

Saturday is probably my least favorite day.
